Baldr Force is a top-down shooter from the Baldr series. Initially released in 2002 for PC, it later got a Updated Re-release with the "EXE" subtitle in 2003, and got a Dreamcast and PS2 port. It was also adapted into a four-episode OVA in 2006.

Baldr Force is a 2D action-shooter game and eroge visual novel with fast action and detailed sprite characters. The game features a world in the not-so-distant future where humans are able to dive into the network, and fight using humanoid tools called "Simulacrum".

A large military group whose main mission is to monitor the everyday moves of hackers, terrorists and data thieves. They often recruit their talents from former hackers they got arrested, and their main enemy are the Fei Dao terrorists.
