    The creators of JSTO realize that these days the U.S. They created a Job Safety Training Outline ( JSTO ), that addressed the hazards specific to their unit's location, facilities and tasks.
    The JSTO is the supervisors' training guide for newly assigned workers. This guide helps cover, in detail, unique workplace occupational safety and health issues that may affect an employee's health. The important thing to remember if you are a supervisor is to never assume that a worker will be aware of a hazard because "it's common sense."
    Supervisors will develop a Job Safety Training (JST) guide specifically tailored to address safety concerns of the work environment (i.e. safety, fire protection/prevention and health requirements.) The guide will encompass both safety awareness and job specific safety training. (AFI 91-202, para 2.3.3.)
