WebSep 11, 2023 · I didn't see any checkerboard pattern or flickering on the screen when I used this option, but since I couldn't observe it 100%, I can say that the D3D9 option is the most guaranteed and smoothest option. I didn't choose to turn off the hardware acceleration option because I noticed a low FPS in the browser and slowness in some animations.

You could try MSI Afterburner. It is free and works well for me. It allows you to easily edit the temp/RPM curve of your GPU.
