Celeron is a semi-discontinued series of low-end IA-32 and x86-64 computer microprocessor models targeted at low-cost personal computers, manufactured by Intel. The first Celeron-branded CPU was introduced on April 15, 1998, and was based on the Pentium II.

Intel Celeron is a family of dual-core processors that operate from 2.9 GHz to 3.3 GHz, come with 2 threads and 2MB Intel Smart Cache. which is quite low when compared to other processors that are currently available in the market. It operates in the LGA 1151-2 socket type, which means that their primary memory RAM type is DDR4 at 2400 Mhz.
