    The London Borough of Hillingdon is a London borough. It is the farthest west borough of London.
    It was formed in 1965 from the districts of Hayes and Harlington, Ruislip-Northwood, Uxbridge, and Yiewsley and West Drayton in the ceremonial county of Middlesex. Today, Hillingdon is home to Heathrow Airport and Brunel University, and is the second largest of the 32 London boroughs by area.
    The present mayor is Councillor Colleen Sullivan. The London Borough of Hillingdon is divided into a total of 21 wards: For elections to the Greater London Council, the borough formed the Hillingdon electoral division, electing three members.
