The Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP was a mobile integrated graphics solution by ATI, launched on May 1st, 2003. Built on the 150 nm process, and based on the RC300 graphics processor, in its RC300MB variant, the device supports DirectX 8.1.
The ATI Radeon 9100 (PRO) IGP is an onboard (shared memory) graphics card with the Codename RS350. The chip supports DirectX 8.1 and is therefore not suited for Aero effects (Windows Vista upwards). Compared to the ATI Radeon 9100 IGP, the 9000 supports only single channel main memory. Supports up to 2048x1536 @ 32bpp.
Since Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. It features 2 pixel shaders and 1 vertex shader 2 texture mapping units, and 2 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support).
The GPU is operating at a frequency of 250 MHz, memory is running at 200 MHz. Being a single-slot card, the ATI Radeon 9000 does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is rated at 28 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x VGA, 1x S-Video.
