    Hi All, I’m working on a windows 11 machine and use VMWare workstation pro 17.5.1 to run a VM for Fedora. I recently updated from Fedora 39 to Fedora 40 on my VM but here’s the issues I’m facing. Fedora 40 ISO cannot be installed in VMWare.
    For the proper working of VMware Player on Fedora also install Kernel modules. Switch to the Downloads directory as whatever we download from the browser saves in that, by default. Agree to License and select options. Soon, you will have this virtualization up and running on your Fedora system.
    Fedora CoreOS supports VMware ESXi ≥ 7.0, VMware Workstation ≥ 16, and VMware Fusion ≥ 12. It may be possible to modify the metadata of the OVF to run in older VMware products, but compatibility and supportability cannot be guaranteed. Before provisioning an FCOS machine, you must have an Ignition configuration file containing your customizations.
    Accordingly, the Fedora CoreOS VMware OVA image specifies a virtual hardware version that may not be compatible with older, unsupported VMware products.
